Biography

I am a Graduate Research Assistant for Project Tycho since May 2017. I am currently an MPH student in the Department of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University with a BA in Exercise Science Education and a minor in Human Nutrition.

In addition to working with Project Tycho, I have also completed practicums at the Allegheny County Health Department doing animal bite surveillance and at at the Children's Hospital Infection Prevention Department. My research interests include antimicrobial resistance, infectious disease epidemiology, vaccine coverage, vaccine preventable diseases, and emerging infectious diseases. I also enjoy traveling to and exploring new places, rooting for the Columbus Blue Jackets, and trying new beer and doing the occasional homebrew.
