Biography

I support Project Tycho as a Financial Research Administrator of the Public Health Dynamics Laboratory (PHDL) and Office of Dean in the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health (GSPH). I received my BS in Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh.

I joined the Research Cost Accounting team from 2001-2003 at the University of Pittsburgh where I received extensive training in research finance. From 2003-2012, I served as a Grant Administrator in the Department of Critical Care Medicine of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. In 2012, I moved to GSPH and worked as a Department Grants Administrator in the Department of Human Genetics. I transferred to PHDL and the Office of the Dean in late 2014. In addition to handling research grants related tasks at PHDL, I also help to review grant submission proposals from all departments within GSPH before going out to the University Central Office of Research for approval. I enjoy cooking, world traveling and watching Asian soaps.
